YWCA Northeast Indiana Community,
With the current global outbreak of COVID-19, the YWCA is adapting our protocols, policies and procedures to be in line with the recommendations from the Department of Health as we continue to strive to keep our clients, staff and community healthy and safe.
During stressful times, the rate of domestic violence increases in both frequency and severity. We want to reassure our community the YWCA Northeast Indiana remains open to individuals needing our services. For more information about the services we provide, please visit our website. Additionally, our domestic violence and sexual assault crisis line (800-441-4073) remains staffed and ready for assistance.
A shining light during these times lies in the united efforts of our community members. It is important we continue to take this situation seriously and self-isolate to protect the health of everyone. If you are desiring to do more to help the community, please consider giving blood. Please also consider donating to a local nonprofit. Many organizations have online giving options. Another idea would be to drop off supplies on the front door steps of your elderly neighbors, and those with compromised health conditions.
United, we will weather this storm. We are standing strong!
